Elle Alexander Design Gives Back To Warm Coats & Warm Hearts Drive
We are celebrating the warmth of the season by donating new winter coats to the 5th Annual Warm Coats & Warm Hearts Drive. The coats will be distributed locally to help our community stay warm this winter season.
The Warm Coats & Warm Hearts Drive will run until Jan 16th. Anyone can donate coats for men, women or children in drop box locations in all Burlington Coat Factory stores. Warm some hearts this holiday season!

Cree LED Lighting Hires Elle Alexander Design
We are proud to announce that Cree LED Lighting hired Elle Alexander Design to assist in their marketing efforts. The first part of the process was to develop a concept for a series of product brochures that speak to a variety of industries. The objective was to develop an engaging and interactive marketing piece that targets a specific industry decision maker. In order to achieve this, we steered away from their traditional product-driven literature and designed a piece featuring the decision maker throughout the brochure, creating a human connection. Elle Alexander brought in Chicago photographer Robert Randall who captured the perfect imagery, portraying the model as a peer to the reader but also someone who has made the upgrade to CREE products and is now offering his endorsement and experience. These images, along with some amazing architectural photos, pulled the messaging together brilliantly.

Elle Alexander Design Wins Six Graphic Design USA Awards
Elle Alexander is proud to announce that we've been awarded six Graphic Design USA Awards for design excellence. In it's 48th year, the contest received over 8,000 entries from across the country. Approximately 15% were recognized with such awards. Congrats to our clients Nufarm Americas, Pulley Watson, and Bikram Yoga Raleigh on their winning pieces and continued success in the future.
Congratulations to Be Active NC - Play Daze was a Hit!
We are happy to report that the very first Play Daze (Sept. 2011) was a hit and Be Active NC is still receiving "Success Reports" each day from the participating organizations. They had a total of 30+ groups and organizations sponsor a Play Daze Event in every corner of the state with well over 7,000 people in attendance. Their largest venue was Marbles Children's Museum that boasted 3,500 children joining in the fun.
Be Active NC is looking forward to making NC Play Daze an annual event. A shout-out to Be Active Kids for getting people more active through play - way to go!
Elle Alexander Design Supports Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue Raffle
What's better than a Scooby snack? How about a new car! NRGRR is kicking off a fundraising campaign in which a new Kia Sportage from Leith Autopark Kia in Wendell will be raffled off. Elle Alexander Design Welcomes Children in Film
Children In Film is a company that provides information to parents and agents to make hiring a child actor a healthy and positive experience for all involved.
Children In Film hired Elle Alexander Design to build a single creative brochure that describes their business and delivers their myriad of information to two very different audiences. We needed to bring their message to child actors and their parents as well as the agents that want to hire child actors.
We were able to refine their message and deliver every bit of information to both audiences in a streamlined, creative presentation. President of Children In Film, Toni Casala said, "We needed someone who could step back, analyze everything that we do, and effectively and efficiently tell the Children In Film story. Be Active Kids Hires Elle Alexander Design
We had a lot of fun developing campaign materials for North Carolina Play Daze, an initiative that creates community fun for everyone. The campaign is designed to get more children physically active by participating in all forms of play at community events being offered from the mountains to the ocean and in between! The 2011 Play Daze is organized by the NC Active Play Alliance, part of the statewide early childhood non-profit program, Be Active Kids.

Be Active Kids is an innovative, interactive physical activity, nutrition, and food safety curriculum for North Carolina preschoolers ages four and five. The goal of the program is to give young children the tools they need to develop positive physical activity and nutrition habits for a lifetime of good health. Be Active Kids uses colorful characters, interactive hands-on lessons and bright visuals to teach children that physical activity, healthy eating, and food safety can be fun!

Nancy Sutterfield Joins our Staff
We are pleased to announce the hire of Nancy Sutterfield as Account Manager. Nancy will be taking on the role of communicating with new and existing clients as well as bringing new accounts on board. We are very excited about this addition to our team as Nancy brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience.
Nancy has more than twenty years of experience managing agencies including owning her own for over ten years in New York. She has overseen and developed work for such companies as Walt Disney World, CUTCO Cutlery and Zippo to name a few.
Elle Alexander Design is Happy to Give Back to Help the Goldens
As animal lovers at heart, we couldn't pass up a golden opportunity to help the Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue group. This all-volunteer rescue group plays an outstanding role in re-homing golden retrievers throughout North Carolina. Designing identity and collateral for the group as well as assisting with event support materials is just a little way we can give back.
